The School of Education offers an abundance of options at both the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as a variety of graduate and post-master’s certificate and endorsement opportunities
Undergraduate Degree Programs
- P-3 with Teacher of Students with Disabilities, with a subject area in anthropology; English; English/creative writing; foreign language/Spanish; history; or music
- Elementary Education Endorsement (K-6) with a subject area in anthropology; art; biology; English; English/creative writing; foreign language/Spanish; history; history/political science interdisciplinary; mathematics; music; or political science
- Interdisciplinary Studies for Elementary Educators (ISEE): Students interested in teaching general content subjects at the Elementary (K-6) level are provided with a well-rounded subject matter education and prepared with knowledge in mathematics, English, science and social studies.
- Secondary Education Endorsement (9-12) with a subject area in biology; chemistry; chemistry/physical sciences; English; English/creative writing; history; history/political science interdisciplinary; mathematics; or political science
- K-12 Education with a subject area in foreign language/Spanish; health and physical education; or music
Five-Year Baccalaureate/Master’s Programs
Five-year Baccalaureate/Master’s Programs allow a student to earn both an undergraduate and graduate degree in just five years. The following options are offered:
- Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with Elementary Education, combined with a graduate program in: Teacher of Students with Disabilities
- Bachelor of Arts in English with Elementary or Secondary Education, combined with a graduate program in: Teacher of Students with Disabilities
- Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages/Spanish with K-12 Education or Elementary Education, combined with a graduate program in: Teacher of Students with Disabilities
- Bachelor of Science in Health/Physical Education with Endorsement in K-12 Education combined with a graduate program in: Teacher of Students with Disabilities
- Bachelor of Arts in History with Elementary or Secondary Education, combined with a graduate program in: Teacher of Students with Disabilities
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Elementary or Secondary Education, combined with a graduate program in: Teacher of Students with Disabilities
