The CCLC has a collection of resources available for teachers to borrow and use in their own classrooms. Each set of materials will come with a folder that includes teaching tips and ideas for classroom use, corresponding standards, a collaboration page, and any other materials you need to successfully use the resource.
How It Works
- Select the resource(s) you are interested in borrowing and complete a Lending Library sign-out request using the button above. Use the dropdown menu to indicate the date range for which you would like to borrow the resource(s). You may borrow more than one set if desired.
- A CCLC member will confirm the details of your request through email. Please use your school email address for communication. It may take a few days to confirm your request.
- Return all items in the state in which they were loaned. Any school or educator who does not return loaned items in the same condition as they were when borrowed may be required to pay up to the full purchase cost of the resources which were lent out.
- After the items are returned, you will be asked to complete a brief survey about the loan process. We will use the survey data to improve the Lending Library experience.
Materials Available
For a complete and detailed list of items currently available, please review the Lending Library Sign Out Request Form above. There are class sets (30 copies) of books available as well as class sets (6 boxes) of different board games that allow students to work together toward climate solutions. For elementary grade bands, you may be interested in using our Book Bundles for themed read-alouds or in reading centers. Climate Action Coding Kits allow students to build and code climate solutions and are suitable for students in grades 3-12. Teachers do not need prior experience to use the coding kits successfully. New materials will continue to be added. Please let us know if you are looking for something specific.
