Principals’ Academy

The School of Education at Monmouth University is pleased to announce the eleventh year of their Principals’ Academy for principals and vice-principals.

Mission Statement

The Principals’ Academy offered by the Monmouth University Partnership is a comprehensive leadership program that provides current and aspiring building-level leaders with sustainable, relevant, and evidence-based professional learning opportunities. The purpose of the Principals’ Academy is to create a forum for dialogue and an exchange of ideas and experiences to further individual and collective growth as educational leaders. Using the university as a catalyst, this academy focuses on dynamic-level leadership that promotes reflection and best practices that affect teacher and student learning. Additionally, the Principals’ Academy creates a network of support for colleagues. It allows for participants to establish and sustain a collaborative relationship not only with other local leaders and aspiring leaders, but with the university, university faculty, and its resources.
