The articulation agreement between Monmouth University and Ross University School of Medicine calls for students graduating from Monmouth University with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Molecular Cell Physiology, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Concentration in Advanced Chemistry or a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Concentration in Biochemistry to gain admission into the Ross educational program leading to the Doctor of Medicine degree while meeting the following criteria:
- Math/Science GPA of 3.2 or higher; an Overall GPA of 3.00 or higher in all courses designated by Ross University School of Medicine as re-requisites for admission.
- No F, D, or C- grade in any pre-requisite course designated by RUSM (all pre-requisite coursework must have been completed within the past ten years).
- Additionally, all qualified MU students must meet all admission criteria of Ross University School of Medicine including a successful interview with RUSM.
In addition, RUSM will reserve five (5) seats in each RUSM semester class (January, May, September) for Eligible Individuals until thirty (30) days prior to the start of the semester. MU is not obligated to provide five (5) students each semester. RUSM will give priority consideration for available scholarships to Eligible Individuals admitted to RUSM who qualify for such scholarships. To qualify for the articulation agreement, a student must receive a total MCAT score of at least (496-500), with a minimum of 123 in each subsection
