Karen Bright, MFA, professor of Art and Design, will host a two-part exhibit at the Jersey Shore Arts Center in Ocean Grove, N.J. The year-long retrospective, “Karen Bright—Throughline,” will showcase 42 years of Bright’s artistry, beginning with her work on paper and culminating in her more recent art in painting and sculpture. “Work on Paper” will open on Friday, Oct. 23 from 6-8 p.m.; there will also be a special preview for registered guests on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 5-7 p.m. “Painting and Sculpture” will debut in March of 2021.
Friday’s event does not require a ticket but will mandate the use of face masks and follow event capacity and social distancing guidelines.
