Prof. Pulliam Appointed to Editorial Board for the “Journal of First-Generation Student Success”

Nicole Pulliam, Ph.D., chair and associate professor in the Department of Educational Counseling and Leadership, was recently appointed to the editorial board for the “Journal of First-Generation Student Success.”

Pulliam, who is also the director of the Social Justice Academy, began serving her three-year term this April.

As an editorial board member, Pulliam will review manuscripts and publish articles that are innovative, imaginative, and forward thinking regarding the experiences and outcomes of first-generation college students, and the approaches institutions of higher education are employing to serve, matriculate, and complete this population.

The Journal is the first academic journal dedicated to the success of first-generation college students and is an initiative of NASPA—Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.
