Gary Lewandowski, Jr. Ph.D., professor in the Department of Psychology, will present “Joy of Relationships” at a virtual Salon Social event hosted by TEDxAsburyPark Founder Brian Smiga on Thursday, May 6 at 7 p.m. The event is free, but registration is required.
Lewandowski, whose previous TEDxAsbury talk has garnered more than 2 million views, will discuss his new book, “Stronger Than You Think: The 10 Blind Spots That Undermine Your Relationship…and How to See Past Them.” The event will also include Marie Lewis who will discuss the “Joy of Special Needs.”
Lewandowski focuses his research, writing, and public speaking on three main areas: romantic relationships, self and identity, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. He has published over 50 academic articles and book chapters, given over 120 conference presentations, authored over 150 articles for mass media outlets, co-edited “The Science of Relationships: Answers To Your Questions about Dating, Marriage, And Family,” and co-authored an innovative research methods textbook, “Discovering the Scientist Within: Research Methods in Psychology.”
