Monmouth University Class of 2013 student Kate Nawoyski was honored at the 38th Annual Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association (JASPER) Awards Dinner on October 12. Ms. Nawoyski, who is a communication major, resides in Sewell, New Jersey.
Ms. Nawoyski won the gold Rising Star Award for her Monmouth University online video Macheke Sustainability Project: Moleen Madziva in which she interviewed Monmouth alumna, Moleen Madziva, who, with the help of Monmouth University students, is creating meaningful ways for improving the quality of life in her native Zimbabwean village of Macheke.
