Monmouth University is pleased to announce that Amber Marfitt, a senior business student, has received an offer of employment from JP Morgan Chase following a ten-week internship this past summer.
Amber Marfitt, a resident of Spotswood, is a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, the International Business Network, and the Monmouth University Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association. Marfitt is pursuing a business administration degree with concentrations in marketing and international business. She applied for the internship with JP Morgan Chase through the Career Services Office at Monmouth and was one of seven students chosen for the ten-week summer internship program.
During her internship, Marfitt worked on a client information team and was able to improve her marketing and communication skills while conducting conference calls with clients from several countries around the world.
Marfitt offered this advice to fellow students, “Don’t be afraid to dive right into an opportunity. You may be nervous or unsure of meeting expectations, but push yourself to learn and reach those goals. It’s the only way to realize what you are truly capable of achieving.”
Marfitt will graduate in May 2014 and begin her employment with JP Morgan Chase at their New York office in July.
