Monmouth University renewed its corporate sponsorship of Two River Theater in Red Bank with the production of “The Scarlet Letter,” a new play by Kate Hamill based on Nathaniel Hawthorne’s famous novel. Monmouth students, faculty, staff, and administrators joined Two River Theater patrons and sponsors, including theater co-founder Joan H. Rechnitz, at the Feb. 9 world premiere performance.
Also in attendance were Amanda Klaus, vice president for University Advancement (not pictured), Kristin Bluemel, interim associate dean of the Wayne D. McMurray School of Humanities and Social Sciences; David Golland, dean of the Wayne D. McMurray School of Humanities and Social Sciences; Two River Theater Artistic Director Justin Waldman; Nora DeVeau-Rosen, Two River Theater managing director; and Richard Veit, interim provost of Monmouth University.
