West Long Branch, NJ (June 25, 2013) The New Jersey State Chapter of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) America along with support from Monmouth University and Rutgers’ Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT), will host the 2013 ITS New Jersey Technical Meeting on June 26, 2013. In this one-day event, speakers from the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO), Rutgers, and the private industry will offer multi-level perspectives on viable ITS options to mitigate incidents and improve quality of life, commerce, and the environment.
Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) are advanced methods of communicating, monitoring, and improving operations in multimodal transportation networks. Speakers will discuss ITS best practices, new technologies, and management protocols during the 2013 ITS New Jersey Technical Meeting.
There are 2.5 to 4.0 PDH credits pending. Please check with your state board to find out if you are eligible to receive PDHs offered by this technical meeting. PDH credits may be purchased for an additional $6.
