Thanks to the generosity and broad participation of alumni and friends, the fourth annual Monmouth Giving Days was a record-breaking success. In just 48-hours, Hawks around the world went “All In” to support educational access, demonstrate shared connections, recognize academic and athletic achievements, and celebrate Hawk pride. Giving Days 2024 raised over $385,000 through more than 2,100 gifts. Gifts came from around the world, including Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Costa Rica, France, Spain, and New Zealand, and domestically from 39 states. “These additional financial resources are poised to have an immediate impact on students’ experiences,” said Lindsay Wood, senior director for alumni engagement and annual giving.
“Giving Days participants helped unlock matching dollars and challenge funds to support scholarships, the Leon Hess Business School, the Marjorie K. Unterberg School of Nursing and Health Studies, the School of Education, women’s basketball, football, and more,” Wood added. “Thank you to everyone who helped make Giving Days 2024 our biggest success yet!” Our students prepared a special video message for supporters who contributed to student scholarships on Giving Days, demonstrating the impact of their gift.
