Raj Devasagayam, Ph.D., dean of the Leon Hess Business School, was recently elected to the Mid-Atlantic Association of Colleges of Business Administration’s (MAACBA) board at its annual conference Tuesday, Oct. 4. The conference was hosted by Villanova University’s School of Business, inviting business deans from around the country to convene and discuss this year’s topic of talent retention.
MAACBA’s mission is to promote and improve collegiate education for business in all areas within the jurisdiction of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, with events geared to enable professional collaboration on ways of improving schools’ accreditation, strategic planning, external relations, and curriculum innovation.
This past summer, Devasagayam was also appointed to Woxsen University’s International Advisory Board, the first of its kind. Devasagayam said that his participation on the boards helps to broaden the Leon Hess Business School’s national and international impact.
