Monmouth University career coaches Mariagrazia Buttitta, M.A., NCC, and Harry Termyna ’19 β21M have completed the Federal Advisor Certificate Program through the Partnership for Public Service, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that strives to build a better government and a stronger democracy.
Buttitta says that the federal government offers careers for students from all majors with competitive salaries and benefits, with about 85% of the federal employees working outside of the Washington, D.C. region. However, itβs often difficult to navigate the myriad of job opportunities and the application process for these positions, she said.
With this certification, Buttitta and Termyna can more effectively assist students and alumni interested in pursuing internships and jobs with the federal government including the development of federal resumes. Email careerdevelopment@monmouth.edu or call (732) 571-3471 for more information.
