Professors and students from the Department of Art and Design at Monmouth University will exhibit their work together in “Invitational: DUALITY: The Faculty and Selected Students of Monmouth University and Brookdale Community College.”
Professors from both Monmouth and Brookdale Community College were invited by curators, Jill Kerwick and Kathy Doherty, to participate in the exhibition. In turn, each professor was asked to invite a student to participate.
The exhibition opens on Jan. 6 at the Art Alliance of Monmouth County, with a reception from 6 – 8 p.m., and runs through the month of January. Located at 33 Monmouth Street in Red Bank, the gallery is open from 12-4, Tuesdays – Saturdays.

The Art Alliance of Monmouth County is a showcase organization for traditional and nontraditional art, including sculpture, painting, drawing, fiber, photography, collage, and digital art. Their mission is to promote the advancement of the visual arts and provide exhibition, studio, and classroom space to local artists.
