This program is open to students who have been licensed as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at the master’s level of a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program. Depending on previous coursework, students may be able to waive some credits of clinical courses.
You will study advanced clinical practice with families, adults, and children, as well as evaluation strategies and methods. You will also take two electives, with course offerings including topics such as trauma, play therapy, maternal mental health, substance abuse, school social work, and more. Students who wish to pursue Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) licensure may fulfill their academic requirements with elective courses.
