Based on the best-selling book by Dr. Atul Gawande, this film explores the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness and their relationships with the doctors, nurses, and family members who care for them.

Monmouth University and the Long Branch Arts Council invite you to a series of workshops in poetry, lyrical essay, and translation of poetry; readings by acclaimed writers; lunch & discussion, and a reading by registered participants.

Bey HallMonmouth University and the Long Branch Arts Council will co-sponsor an event with keynote presenters Kim Addonizio and Ron Mitchell.

Bey HallThe day will consist of readings by nationally known poets, some of whom will conduct poetry workshops for participants. The keynote readers will be Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Dunn and Cave Canem Fellow Rachel Eliza Griffiths. Stephen Dunn was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry for Different Hours.
