‘The paintings in this show for the most part have been inspired by Pre Renaissance and Renaissance iconography. Although some may be based on familiar and traditional themes, all of the paintings are original contemporary interpretations of these themes.’
Inforifices, an exhibition by Jeremiah Teipen, features new works that aestheticize the processes by which we consume (and digest) large amounts of visual information. Teipen creates mesmerizing experiences that mirror our current hyper-saturated mediascape, but also allow the viewer to transcend it.

National Theatre Live will broadcast the Donmar Warehouse’s production of Coriolanus, Shakespeare’s searing tragedy of political manipulation and revenge, with Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers, War Horse (film), BBC’s The Hollow Crown) in the title role and Mark Gatiss (Season’s Greetings at the National Theatre, BBC’s Sherlock) as Menenius, directed by the Donmar’s Artistic Director Josie Rourke.

REAL BOY is the coming-of-age story of Bennett Wallace, a transgender teenager on a journey to find his voice as a musician, a friend, a son, and a man. Navigating the ups and downs of young adulthood, he works to gain the support of his mother, who has deep misgivings about her child’s transition. As tension mounts at home, Bennett is taken in by his idol, Joe Stevens, the lead singer of the alt-Americana band, Coyote Grace. Exploring how our search for personal identity also involves those closest to us, REAL BOY is a nuanced look at the new American family and the people we turn to when our given families are unavailable.

The symposium will feature a keynote address, three panels and musical performances through the day.
The great Renée Fleming returns to one of her signature roles, singing the enchanting “Song to the Moon” in Dvorák’s soulful fairy-tale opera.
