National Theatre of London: Coriolanus
National Theatre Live will broadcast the Donmar Warehouse’s production of Coriolanus, Shakespeare’s searing tragedy of political manipulation and revenge, with Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers, War Horse (film), BBC’s The Hollow Crown) in the title role and Mark Gatiss (Season’s Greetings at the National Theatre, BBC’s Sherlock) as Menenius, directed by the Donmar’s Artistic Director Josie Rourke.

Navigating the ups and downs of young adulthood, he works to gain the support of his mother, who has deep misgivings about her child’s transition. As tension mounts at home, Bennett is taken in by his idol, Joe Stevens, the lead singer of the alt-Americana band, Coyote Grace. Exploring how our search for personal identity also involves those closest to us, REAL BOY is a nuanced look at the new American family and the people we turn to when our given families are unavailable.

The Great HallMonmouth University and the Los Angeles-based GRAMMY Museum have partnered to commemorate the tremendous impact that the Fab Four had on American society with a day-long symposium called Ladies and Gentlemen … The Beatles! to be held in the historic Wilson Hall. The symposium will feature a keynote address, three panels and musical performances through the day.
