Gallery Exhibition: Anthony Migliaccio
Pollak GalleryEstablished printmaker and painter, New Jersey native Anthony Migliaccio has been exhibiting his work since the 1970’s. Today his paintings and prints are in collections internationally, and his painting excursions have taken him to scenic locations throughout the world. His work has been exhibited at prestigious venues such as the Salmagundi Club, the National Arts Club, the Noyes Museum, and several galleries, colleges and universities throughout the tri-state area. Opening Reception: October 24, 6-8 pm
Nine for IX: Venus Vs.
Pollak TheatreA look at Venus Williams’ victory off the court in her fight for financial equality in the earnings allocated to men vs. women tennis champions. Nine for IX is a series of documentary films which originally aired on ESPN celebrating the 40th anniversary of Title IX, the federal civil rights law that prohibits sex discrimination in education.
