Bruce Springsteen: A Photographic Journey
Joan and Robert Rechnitz HallBruce Springsteen: A Photographic Journey, a traveling photography exhibition curated by the GRAMMY Museum Los Angeles, features 45 iconic images. The opening reception on September 27 from 1-4 PM will include a Q&A with the photographers moderated by Grammy Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli at 2:30 PM.

Pollak GalleryExperience the village of Mbiriizi in Uganda, Africa. This exhibit tracks the progress of the Mbiriizi Advanced Primary School and its children over the last 12 years. It celebrates their lives through pictures, stories, crafts, batiks and artifacts. See the growth made possible through one woman’s determination to make a difference. The richness and beauty of the culture (as well as its poverty) is shared through audio clips from travelers who have visited and experienced the school. It is an exhibit of joy, of determination, of success, of life.

Pollak TheatreAcclaimed artist and director William Kentridge (The Nose) applies his unique theatrical vision to Berg’s notorious femme fatale who shatters lives, including her own. Musically, the masterful score is in the sure hands of Met Music Director James Levine. Soprano Marlis Petersen has excited audiences around the world with her portrayal of the tour-de-force title role, a wild journey of love, obsession, and death. Susan Graham joins a winning cast, including Daniel Brenna and Johan Reuter.
