Join us for an exploratory evening of dance featuring choreography developed and created by students in the Spring 2017 Choreography class. Additional works by members of the Department of Music and Theater will also be showcased.

If you like Carousel, the King and I, Oklahoma, The Sound of Music, South Pacific, and other Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein favorites, you will want to attend this musical tribute. Monmouth University’s renowned Concert and Chamber Choirs and featured soloists are guaranteed to put a spring in your step and have you whistling some of America’s greatest Broadway Musical tunes.

TUESDAY NIGHT RECORD CLUB: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN’S Nebraska

It’s just like book club but with albums! With new advances in technology, the way we consume music through our devices, apps and on demand streaming services like Pandora, Spotify and iTunes is making the idea of the “album” as an art form extinct. Get together with other music enthusiasts on Tuesday nights in Woods Theatre to discuss some of the greatest records of all-time! Listen to the album beforehand and then come prepared to discuss…there will be special guest moderators and panelists at each event! This discussion will feature BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN’S Nebraska. This event is free but registration is required.

Diabetes Management in the School Age Child

Magill Commons

From gym class to glucose monitoring, this program is designed to provide guidelines for the management and support of the school age child with diabetes. A focus will be on the techniques used to balance insulin and nutritional needs with school activities. Acute and chronic complications will be discussed as well as prevention and health promotion strategies. Current references and resources will be provided.
