With a brilliant crew at his disposal (including a young editor named Martin Scorsese), director Michael Wadleigh worked with over 300 hours of footage to create his original 225-minute director’s cut, which was cut by 40 minutes for the film’s release in 1970.

The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University will present An Evening with Tone, featuring David Sancious, Ernest “Boom” Carter, and Gerald Carboy, hosted by Bob Santelli, Founding Executive Director of the Grammy Museum, on Sunday, October 6th, at 7PM in the Pollak Theater on the university campus.
