Intent: To outline the process of requesting a Late Test Room Booking.
Accountability: The Director of DDS and all DDS professional staff, the ADA/504 Coordinator and students with disabilities requesting DDS accommodations and support services.
Applicability: Students registered with the Department of Disability Services (DDS) approved for Extended Test Time.
Procedure: Students requesting a Late Test Room Booking must complete the following steps:
- Register with the Department of Disability Services (DDS) and be approved for Extended Test Time.
- Email professor and copy Department of Disability Services on that email: examsdds@monmouth.edu including:
- Request testing accommodation/s.
- Include course code.
- Provide date and start time of exam.
- Indicate how much time the class is given to complete the test.
- Include any special instructions (notes, books, computer).
- Indicate how the professor will provide the exam (email, drop off).
- Provide how the professor wishes to receive the completed exam returned (scan/email, pick up, student delivery).
Once students complete the above and DDS has received acknowledgement from the professor, a Disability Specialist will submit a Test Room Booking on their behalf.
Once you have completed the instructions above and DDS has received approval from the professor, this request will be considered on a case-by-case basis depending upon test room availability. If there is an available test room, a Disability Specialist will submit a Test Room Booking on your behalf. Please contact DDS if you have any questions.
