Research Interests
Dr. Burrows has received her Ph.D in Organic Chemistry/Chemical Education. Her group is primarily concerned with the investigation and development of meaningful learning environments for students in lower division undergraduate chemistry courses.
Current projects include:
Design, development, and evaluation of the undergraduate chemistry project-based laboratory environment
Assessment of the laboratory environment for pre-medical students and development of transferable skills.
Students’ conceptual understanding of fundamental chemistry concepts in a general, organic, and biochemistry course
