Annette Gough serves as the executive assistant to the president and the Board of Trustees. Gough’s responsibilities include serving as the liaison to the Board of Trustees and cabinet, and executing and staffing board meetings. Gough collaborates with the Office of the General Counsel on all board procedures and issues, as well as new trustee orientations. She maintains all records of board-related issues including minutes and historical records; oversees the management of the Office of the President; plans, coordinates, and executes special events; and serves on various University committees.

Gough has held a number of administrative roles at the University since arriving at Monmouth College in 1989, including systems technology administrator and executive assistant to the president. Gough received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Monmouth University in 2016.
