Donna Marie Simon has been in the field of Behavior Healthcare for over 15 years. After receiving a Masters in Social Work from Monmouth University, and post graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology, Donna continues the mission of working towards building high quality behavior healthcare services to enhance the quality of life for service recipients, despite age, diagnosis or different abilities.
Donna has built systematic behavior services for people with Developmental Disabilities with medical and mental health comorbidities and challenging behavior, and her career has spanned through adults, geriatric, mental health, school, and in home based programming through Children’s System of Care, Department of Health systems, consultation services, and academics. In addition to the development of best practice protocols, systematic applications, and curriculum for staff, caregiver, and clinician training, Donna provides supervision services and provides clinical counseling in private practice. In her spare time, Donna enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog, likes to travel, exercise, and volunteer with non profit organizations.
