With our 48-credit M.A./M.F.A. dual degree program in Creative Writing, you will prepare for your dream career in the literary world by training directly with published, award-winning faculty.

The Creative Writing concentration is one of few such programs in New Jersey. It offers foundation courses in literary study and research with specialized creative writing workshops and tutorials in diverse genres.

Bachelors + Masters

In the Literature concentration, students can study a broad range of literature or work closely with one or more faculty members to pursue a more narrowly focused field.

The Rhetoric and Writing concentration is ideal for students whose goal is to teach college composition as well as for students already teaching at the high school or middle school level who wish to enhance their knowledge of rhetoric and the methods of and theories behind teaching composition.
