Since 1997, Hawk TV has been allowing Monmouth University students to expose themselves into the atmosphere of a legitimate television station. Students of any major and any grade can come in and crew a show. In our state of the art studio, The Monty Television Studio, responsibilities include Directing, Audio Engineering, Lighting, Set Design, Camera Work, and many more great positions to fulfill. Hawk TV gives students actual hands-on television production experience.
Housed in the Jules L. Plangere Jr. Center for Communication and Instructional Technology on campus, Hawk TV is programmed to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on Channel 12-1. Our original shows shoot throughout the week and our general meetings are held in JP138 every Wednesday at 3:45pm. New members are always welcomed.
