Programs of Study

Students pursuing Monmouth’s Bachelor of Science in Mathematics will become linguists in the fundamental language of the universe. Our dynamic and experiential curriculum integrates core mathematical subjects with nontraditional courses such as mathematical reasoning and the history of mathematics. You will study the integration of technology and math by exploring programming, mathematical document writing, and graphical and symbolic software.

The Mathematics and Education with an Endorsement in Elementary (K-6) Education program prepares students for a career in education with a strong foundation in mathematics.

Bachelors + Masters

The Mathematics and Education with an Endorsement in Secondary Education (9-12) in Mathematics program prepares students for a career in education with a strong foundation in mathematics.

Bachelors + Masters

Math students can choose to concentrate in statistics to focus on data analysis, mathematical models, and specialized statistical programs. The program gives students both a strong foundation in mathematics as well as specialized advanced knowledge in pure and applied statistics.

The sequence of courses in the Mathematics Minor provides students with the necessary foundation in mathematics to be proficient in a world that is becoming more and more quantitative in nature.

The Minor in Statistics will give students both a foundation in calculus and specialized advanced knowledge in pure and applied statistics.
