Middle States Self-Study
Monmouth University is accredited by The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), an institutional accreditor recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education. MSCHE provides accreditation for all programs offered by the University. To maintain accreditation, the University must meet MSCHE’s rigorous Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation.
MSCHE accreditation assures students, their families, and the public of the educational quality of a Monmouth education. Institutional accreditation is also a requirement for the University to participate in the Department of Education’s Title IV federal financial aid program.

As the University approaches its scheduled accreditation review, all interested parties, including members of the public and the University community, are invited to share feedback about the quality of the institution with the Middle States Commission.
Third-party comments are intended to be an opportunity for individuals to offer more generalized information that is not necessarily specific to individual circumstances.
To submit a third-party comment, please use the Third-Party Comment form. Documentation is not required; however, if you choose to attach documents, all documentation must be submitted in English and in PDF format.
