  • Master Tutors

    Faculty Master Tutors are available to assist students with college success skills such as organization and time management, note taking skills, test taking skills, etc. as well as content in the natural sciences, humanities, and social science. Appointments required.

    Professor William Gorman

    EDUCATION: B.A. Villanova University, 1982 (English, History, Education major), M.S. Monmouth College, 1987

    SPECIALTIES: Member of the Department of History since 1986 teaching a variety of courses such as Western Civilization I and II, U.S. History, Business and Economic Growth of the United States, Critical Discourse, and Freshman Seminar. He advises undergraduate history majors in the Department of History. Currently serves as a Freshman Advisor for the First Year Advising Office. He assists first-year students with study skills, test-taking strategies, and adjustment to college life. Interests include politics, current issues, reading, writing, the beach, and the shore.

    Professor William S. Reynolds

    EDUCATION: B.A. Newark State College, 1972 (Education major), M.A. Kean University, 1980 (Science Education), Monmouth University 2004. (Supervisor of Instruction)

    SPECIALTIES: Member of the Department of Computer Science/Software Engineering since 1999 teaching a variety of courses such as IT 100, IT 102, IT 150, IT 200 and IT 500, as well as Freshman Seminar. Currently serves as a Freshman Advisor for the First Year Advising Office. He assists first-year students with study skills, test-taking strategies, and adjustment to college life. Professor Reynolds supervises student teacher and conducts focus groups for the School of Education. He also advises The Outdoors Club.
