International Student Services

Welcome to the International Student Services website!

Our beautiful campus located in central New Jersey is considered home to a variety of international students from around the world. Our international student body consistently represents more than 35 countries, with students bringing their own ethnic culture and customs to our campus. Our international students are athletes, scholars, undergraduates, and graduates – engaged in all aspects of Monmouth’s student and academic life.

The Global Education Office (GEO) is committed to preparing students for a highly interdependent world. We provide transformative programs and experiences that support international students throughout their personal and educational journey at Monmouth. GEO also promotes the success, wellness, and personal growth of international students through expert immigration advising, intercultural programming, and advocacy throughout their academic careers and post-degree practical training programs.

It is important to note, that while it is the student’s sole responsibility to maintain their legal status while in the United States, we will be there to help every step of the way. This website is an informative resource for all new and continuing international students, covering topics related to F-1/J-1 immigration status and benefits. This site, in addition to the other services we provide, may be vital to a student’s success here at Monmouth. We highly encourage students to familiarize themselves with everything we have to offer. For specific and sometimes complex issues, students must consult with Monmouth’s Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) or an on-site DSO. Meeting hours are below:
