Join in the John R. Elliot Hero Walk celebrating Monmouth University's Designated Drivers on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 11am. The walk will take place on Kessler Field and in the event of bad weather will be moved to the MAC. The Hero Walk is part of the campaign on campus dedicated to prevent drunk driving tragedies by promoting the use of safe and sober designated drivers. Established in 2000 in memory of Navy Ensign John Elliot of New Jersey, the campaign has grown to become a national movement. Free t-shirts and Rook coffee to the first 150 participants!!

Avoid the traffic jams and parking issues and relax aboard the Seastreak Ferry on the 75 minute scenic ride to Yankee Stadium. The boat departs the Highlands Dock at 3326 Shore Drive in Highlands, NJ promptly at 10:30 a.m. Game time is 1:05 p.m. and the ferry will leave Yankee Stadium for the return trip 30 minutes after the end of the game. Free and ample parking is available at the ferry dock in the Highlands. The cost of the main level ticket and ferry transportation is $125 per person. Limited tickets available.
The Golden Eagle is a 100' party fishing boat docked at the Belmar Marina. Captain Richard Falcone and his Golden Eagle will sail at 7:30 AM and return to the marina at 3:00 PM. Join us on this Saturday morning and fish for stripers with your family and friends. Adult cost is $53 and children under 12 is $35. The cost does not include gratuities for the Golden Eagle crew members which is normally calculated by the number of fish caught and cleaned. Fishing rods are available for rental at $7 each inclusive of bait. The Golden Eagle has a full galley and serves hot meals, snacks and soft drinks and you are also welcome to bring your own cooler.
