Looking Forward for our Community

Whether it’s assisting in the purchase of new fire trucks for our communities or providing volunteers for First Aid quads, Monmouth University supports local groups and programs that enrich the lives of our neighbors. Monmouth faculty, staff, and students volunteer their time, talents, and treasure to make West Long Branch and surrounding communities an even better place to live.

  • Community Speakers – Does your community organization or school need a speaker for an upcoming meeting? Monmouth has numerous individuals who can speak on a variety of topics.
  • Institute for Global Understanding – With the help of community members, the Institute for Global Understanding promotes various issues and challenges that are happening throughout the world.
  • Monmouth University Community Garden – Sponsored by the School of Social Work, the community garden provides a place for individuals to come together to grow produce for the betterment of the community.
  • Polling Institute – As a way to keep a finger on the political and environmental landscape of New Jersey, the Polling Institute not only monitors public opinion, it also provides research to community and political leaders throughout the state.
