Monmouth University Students Attend National Leadership Conference

Monmouth University business administration students Ramon Ferrer (Howell, N.J.) and Wesley Wasserman (Broomall, P.A.) attended the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Student Leadership Conference held in Indianapolis, IN, in November. Monmouth University’s Leon Hess Business School provided financial support to cover the conference-related travel expenses.

At this professional conference, the students learned about career opportunities, business ethics, leadership skills. and job search techniques.

“The conference had a variety of exciting events and connected students with industry professionals and accounting students from across the nation,” said Don Moliver, dean of the Leon Hess Business School. “The students learned tremendously from this conference.”

“I learned things at this conference that cannot be found in textbooks or on-campus,” said Ferrer. “I enhanced my networking abilities and connected with CEOs and CFOs of major companies.”

“Attending the IMA conference was a very enriching experience,” said Wasserman. “It was amazing talking to students from all over the country.”
