Monmouth University Receives Award from Central Jersey Blood Center

Monmouth University received an award from Central Jersey Blood Center (CJBC) for having the most donors for a college or university at CJBC’s Donor Appreciation Night on July 26, held at the Lakewood BlueClaws game. Dr. Michael Palladino, School of Science dean, and his assistant, Koorleen Minton, accepted the award on behalf of the University. Palladino, a board member of CJBC, threw out the first pitch at the game. Monmouth University’s School of Science, School of Social Work and Marjorie K. Unterberg School of Nursing and Health Studies hosted two blood drives in February and June on campus and collected 191 donations.
