The Leon Hess Business School at Monmouth University's part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program was recognized as one of the best programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in its annual "Best Graduate Schools" rankings.

The program is ranked among the best part-time MBA programs in the nation. Each program considered had to meet the conditions of being accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

"The ranking is a direct reflection of the commitment of our faculty, staff, and alumni. Our personalized education for busy professionals prepares graduates to compete and prosper in today's global marketplace."

The MBA program includes core and advanced courses in the key business disciplines of accounting, finance, economics, marketing, management, and business law, with strong emphases placed on international, ethical, and technological perspectives within a broad framework.

The Leon Hess Business School, among the top 5 percent of business schools internationally accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, offers MBA program tracks in accounting, finance, and real estate.

U.S. News rankings in business are based on formulas that consider reputation surveys, selectivity, research funding and productivity, outcomes for graduates, and other factors. U.S. News provides updated graduate program rankings every year for schools of business, law, education, medicine, and engineering.

U.S. News does not update all rankings each year. Programs previously ranked, which will be included in the latest edition, are Monmouth University's masters programs in social work and nursing.

Monmouth University School of Social Work's Master of Social Work (MSW) program is ranked 60 among 206 social work graduate programs in the nation.

The Marjorie K. Unterberg School of Nursing and Health Studies' Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is ranked 332 among 442 nursing graduate programs in the nation. In addition, Monmouth University is the only New Jersey school recognized by U.S. News & World Report in their 2014 Best Online Graduate Nursing Programs ranking.
