THE MARJORIE K. UNTERBERG SCHOOL OF NURSING & HEALTH STUDIES 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AT MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY

Monmouth University’s Marjorie K. Unterberg School of  Nursing and Health Studies will be celebrating its 30-year anniversary with a dinner and tour on Friday, April 20 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Wilson Hall.

The school has reached many milestones and has shown tremendous growth over the past 30 years. Dr. Marilyn Lauria opened the upper-division BSN program with 72 students in the Department of Nursing in April 1981. Today, the School of Nursing and Health Studies boasts over 600 students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Health Studies, Master of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. The school has shown tremendous growth with over 900 alumni.

Come hear about the journey of our success and plans for our future. Experience the magic and majesty of Monmouth University’s Wilson Hall as it was in 1929 when it was known as “Shadow Lawn,” the private home of F.W. Woolworth’s president Hubert Parson and his wife, Maysie.

This special evening features a full-course dinner in beautiful Wilson Hall, a fascinating photo presentation providing an insider’s look at the extravagant lifestyle of the Parsons, plus a guided tour of one of the country’s most magnificent architectural treasures.

PLEASE RSVP BY APRIL 1, 2012. Tickets are $50 each and a limited number of tickets for this celebration are available.
