Employee Giving Campaign

Building Community

Each year employees demonstrate a remarkable spirit of commitment to our students and our academic community by participating in the Employee Giving Campaign.

By supporting the area you are most passionate about: student activities, academic programs, library facilities, performing and fine arts, athletic teams—and scholarship funds, you set an important example for your peers, and our students.

You can designate your gift to specific programs or activities, or make an unrestricted gift, so funding can be used where the financial need is greatest.

Investing Through Payroll Deduction

While gifts of cash are always welcome, many employees find that payroll deduction is the easiest way to commit to a fixed amount over time without a big budget impact. A President’s Society gift of $1,000, when spread out over each pay period throughout the calendar year, is a surprisingly easy way to make a meaningful scholarship gift.

Hawk Walk Brick Campaign

Many employees also choose to celebrate their own time at Monmouth, or commemorate a retiring colleague, with a personalized brick on the Hawk Walk outside the historic Great Hall. By spreading payments over a year, this lasting tribute becomes an affordable way to support student activities and scholarships, since 100 percent of the profits are directed to those areas.

Measurements of Support

Gifts from employees are also an important way for outside grant-making and funding organizations to understand the passion and commitment of faculty and staff to our academic mission.

In this way, every dollar re-invested in Monmouth University is a gift that pays extra dividends.
