The Monmouth University Student Handbook is provided as a resource and reference guide to the Student Code of Conduct and to University policies and regulations. Additional polices and regulations can be found in the Residential Life Contract, Residential Life Guidebook, and the Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs.
Monmouth University students are responsible for knowledge of the regulations and information contained within these and other publications. If you do not understand a policy or regulation, it is your responsibility to ask the Dean of Students’ Office for clarification or interpretation.
Monmouth University, through the Office of the Vice President for Student Life, reserves the right to change or alter any of the material presented in The Student Handbook and The Student Code of Conduct at any time to ensure the proper conduct of campus community. Any such changes or alterations will be preceded by written notice, and shall become effective one week (5 business days) from the date of distribution of such notice to students.
It is the sole responsibility of the student to read and understand all such notices. Failure to read and understand such notices shall not absolve any student of the responsibility for complying, or the consequences of failure to comply, with such changes, alterations, or procedures.
