This irreverent, fast-paced romp parodies all of Shakespeare’s 37 plays in 97 minutes. It ran for 10 years at the Criterion Theatre, making it London’s longest running comedy. The segments bear only a passing resemblance to Shakespeare’s works, which are used as starting points for comic riffs. Shakespeare aficionados can enjoy recognizing the references and lines, while those who are not well-versed in his work won't fear being unable to keep up. Praised by the Los Angeles Times as “wildly funny” and by the Montreal Gazette as “the funniest show you are likely to see in your entire lifetime.”
“If you like Shakespeare, you'll like this show. If you hate Shakespeare, you'll love this show!”—The Today Show
