Diversity in Marine and Environmental Biology and Policy (MEBP) Initiative
Several summer research positions will be supported with funding from a generous contribution for the Diversity in Marine and Environmental Biology and Policy Initiative, which provides funding for eligible student scholarships and research. The purpose of the Initiative is to encourage diversity and support the inclusion of a broad group of students from distinct backgrounds including but not limited to: socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, race and/or nationality. Eligibility of applicants will be given individual holistic attention; one factor that will be weighed shall be students who meet the definition of diversity in terms of but not limited to: social and economic background, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, race and/or nationality to fulfill the purpose of these scholarships.
Please submit one letter of recommendation from a faculty member at your school and have that letter addressed to the faculty mentor(s) you are applying to work with during the research program.
