Dr. DePasquale is a licensed physician in the State of New Jersey and Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. For the past 25 years, he has served as a key clinical faculty member of Seton Hall University’s School of Graduate Medical Education Residency training program accredited by the American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). In that capacity, he has provided clinical training to medical students, residents, and gastroenterology fellows at St. Michael's Medical Center and served as its Gastroenterology Fellowship and Research Coordinator. He is a past recipient of St. Michael's Medical Center's medical trainees' "Medical Teaching Attending Award." Likewise, Dr. DePasquale has long contributed to PA education. Over the past 15 years, he has participated in program curriculum development, rendered didactic instruction to PA students, served as a clinical preceptor, and presented at postgraduate professional meetings. He is a past recipient of the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants' "Outstanding Physician of the Year" Award.
Dr. DePasquale is actively engaged in the practice of medicine. His practice is limited to diseases of the digestive and biliary systems. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership positions in his hospital affiliations, as well as in professional organizations, including serving as past president of The New Jersey Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and New Jersey Gastroenterology Society.
Dr. DePasquale is a graduate of Boston College, having received his Bachelor of Science in Physics, magna cum laude. He received his Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Genoa, Genoa, Italy, and recently received a master's degree from Dartmouth University in its Health Care Delivery Science (MHCDS) program.
