Internship Experiences for Psychology Majors

Psychology majors at Monmouth University have a wide variety of opportunities that help them gain real-world experience by completing one or more internship experiences.

Features of Our Internship Experience Program Include:

  • A wiki site for currently enrolled students that contains information, resources and a growing list of 150+ internship sites
  • Varied placement opportunities
    • e.g., mental health, human resources, marketing, forensic psychology, neuropsychology, child development, geriatrics, health psychology, school psychology and animal-assisted therapy
  • Ability to fulfill the requirement in a class setting or as an independent study with a faculty supervisor
  • Support for completing at least 2 internships before graduation
  • Opportunity to present internship experience at the Department of Psychology’s Undergraduate Conference
