Multidisciplinary Poster Expo – All Schools, Departments and Programs

Members of the 2023 Student Scholarship Committee representing each of Monmouth University’s Schools selected approximately 10 posters per school to represent the diversity, range and quality of research and scholarship done by our students. These posters will remain on display throughout the week.

Highlighting student research, providing an opportunity for students across the university to think about research and how it improves our respective fields, and to recognize and appreciate the work of student peers. Viewers will have an opportunity to vote for the best presentation in several categories.

AR-218, Sculpture II, created an installation as part of their collaboration with the Climate Teach In.

School of Humanities and Social Sciences – Art & Design – Senior Show

All Day | DiMattio & Ice House Galleries

Presenting a representative sample of each graduating senior’s best work, including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, silk-screening, book arts, graphic design, motion graphics, and animation.

Honors School Research Conference

8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Guggenheim Library Room 101

Honors students will be presenting their honors research and creative capstone projects. Students’ research and projects span the gamut of academic disciplines and interests.

School of Humanities and Social Sciences – Political Science and Sociology – Politics and Law Symposium

1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Bey Hall/Pozycki Hall

1:00-3:15 -Several working groups will present on information relevant to interested students. We will be being joined by students and faculty from Ocean County College and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Working groups will focus on Undergraduate Publishing Opportunities; International Community Service and Careers; Law School and Careers in Law; and a session explaining the Model UN. 3:30-4:30 – Student panels featuring MU students and students from OCC and Fairleigh Dickinson.

School of Humanities and Social Sciences – History & Anthropology Senior Seminar

1:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. | Science Building – E243A & E243B

Professor DelPrete’s AN426 (Research Seminar in Anthropology) and Professor Dorment’s HS-461 (Research Seminar in History) classes will present on their research projects.
