Rebecca received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Seton Hall University in 2000 and a her Master's Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2002. During the second year of her Master's program, she spent two months in Chennai, India studying Social Work and Community Development. Rebecca has spent her professional career working with children diagnosed with chronic and life-threatening illness, developmental delays, and disabilities. She has experience providing case management, advocacy services, and individual and group counseling with children and their families.

Research Interests:

At Ohio State she conducted research on the effectiveness of university/school/community partnerships looking at successes and barriers. Her current areas of interest include health care issues and the psychosocial impact of chronic illness on adults, children, adolescents and their families
