• Pre-Freshman Residential Summer Program

    Freshman Sophomore Mixer 2011The EOF Program at Monmouth University provides incoming EOF freshmen with an introduction to college life, both academic and social, before beginning their first academic year.

    MANDATORY:

    • All incoming EOF Monmouth University freshmen are required to participate.
    • Students reside on campus in the University's residence halls under the constant supervision of specially trained peer counselors, as well as regular EOF staff. 

    FIVE-WEEK PROGRAM:

    • The summer program runs from early July through the first week in August.
    • During these five weeks the students are expected to conform to a highly structured, rigorous daily schedule that includes periods for meals, classes, seminars, and study.
    • Students meet regularly with their peer counselors to discuss academic, financial, and personal development issues.

    NO COST TO STUDENTS FOR:

    FIELD TRIPS/SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:

    • Students participate in several weekly supervised field trips.
    • Students engage in activities to sharpen leadership and social skills
