Research Interests:

I.       Developing polymers for use in specialty applications: membrane, flame-retardant, and biocompatible materials:

 ·         Solid-state synthesis of inorganic polymers, with focus on polyphosphazenes.

 ·         Synthesis of hybrid organic-inorganic polymers, particularly polyalkeneylphosphazenes.

II.    Synthesis of organometallic complexes & role in catalytic organic synthesis:

 ·         Synthesis of metal-ketene and acyl complexes.

 ·         Role of complexes in the Fischer-Tropsch catalytic preparation of polymeric hydrocarbons and oxygenated organics.
